Teenage adolescence is a critical time of self-development in the face of many external influences. Components of Senior Forum include positive communication, effective listening, self-reflection, habit formation, self-expression, relationships, goals setting, team building and collaboration. Students participate in a residential camp and then coached for for 8 months by trained volunteers on achieving their goals. They participate in a group community service project.

Early adolescence is a pivotal time when children are beginning to develop higher order thinking skills, establish healthy social interactions, and define a sense of self and personal values. Junior Forum focuses on establishing positive character traits, cultivating a mature sense of self, and building effective learning skills.
This 6-day camp is fun and interactive.
Practice really does make progress and we’re here to support you and your children. Our parent workshops cover elements of our core curriculum. They are lifelong skills that enhance abilities at all ages, and a great plan is to have a weekly family gathering to review and practice connections and extend the learning into life at home, including strengthening relationships with the whole family. Join our monthly virtual Parent Connect Series.
This is a school wide programme with the goal to improve student outcomes by improving the culture, creating common language, and youth leadership through the 8 Keys of Excellence character development curriculum. OSS Support is available to the Bermuda Public Schools. The goal is to provide a structured alternative to the home setting to ensure students learn, grow and develop as a result of their OSS.
PeerForward is a digital curriculum that supports high school students in creating a post- secondary plan that provides meaningful learning experiences while connecting academics to careers. It engages positive peer influence to create a college-career going culture in high schools. The programme focuses on self-advocacy, academic excellence, college-career connection, college 101, and financial awareness. Additionally, the programme provides leadership skill development for rising S3 and S4 students as change agents.
In partnership with the Parks Department, we encourage the entire community to support the project focused on empowering environmental sustainability through education and employment. Selective culling of invasives, restoring habitats and maintaining the historical perspective of buildings, gardens and quarries, are areas of focus. Community service hours are available for students.
Senior Forum is a transformational experience for high school students, most of whom are feeling the stresses of needing to achieve good grades, but who are doing so as much for their parents as for themselves. This “have to” feeling changes at SuperCamp, as students get inspired and self-motivated to want to learn and to set and achieve goals.
One of the great things about attending SuperCamp is that we provide each student with an established path for personal growth and learning.
Our key areas of focus are:
Ages: 14-18 years
Duration: 6 Day Residential Camp for Students
Dates: Contact 294-9291 or mirrors@gov.bm for dates
The only thing tougher than raising a teenager these days is being one. Junior Forum takes new and soon-to-be teens and helps them become independent, confident and self-motivated learners ready to succeed at the next level in school and life.
One of the great things about attending SuperCamp is that we provide each student with an established path for personal growth and learning.
Our key areas of focus are:
Ages: 11-13 years
Duration: 6 Day Camp Non-Residential for Students

The 8 Keys of Excellence principles to live by are the foundation on which SuperCamp is built. The students are surrounded by reminders of the 8 Keys every day. They’re posted on walls, modeled by staff, and woven into each day’s activities. They create a feeling of community and trust, and a sense of belonging in an open, friendly environment.
The benefits of a SuperCamp program – with the 8 Keys of Excellence at the core—have been noted worldwide. Studies show SuperCamp graduates significantly increase self confidence and motivation, improve their grades, participate more in school, and feel measurably better about themselves.
If the 8 Keys of Excellence was in every school in America and being taught in the homes it would literally transform the country.—Jack Canfield, Author, Chicken Soup for the Soul Series
PeerForward is a college and career readiness programme operating in Berkeley Institute and CedarBridge Academy. We empower students to lead their peers to and through higher education.
The best predictor of post-secondary enrollment for first generation college students is whether they have friends who plan on going. The PeerForward model ignites that positive peer influence and prepares students to help themselves and their peers apply to and graduate
from college.
The programmes’ signature summer workshops, curriculum training camps and year round coaching equips Peer Leaders to help their peers with their post-secondary options and foster a culture where everyone continues education after high school. Eight S3 and eight S4 Peer Leaders are enrolled annually by May.
Programme components include: 3-4-Day summer residential camp usually in July followed by the academic year starting in September, fall training camp, spring training camp, college coaching and scholarship application workshops.
Training dates are coordinated with schools at the school leadership meetings in September.
