Field of Learning

The Field of Learning Garden Club is a 10 week programme for youth in middle school (age 10) through senior school (age 18). It is held Monday and Wednesday afternoons, from 4pm to sunset.

Along with learning how to be sustainable and being able to grow your own food, participants will:

Grow flowers, fruits, herbs and vegetables. Gardening and landscaping is not only about food, but beauty. Getting to know florals which can also lead to other career opportunities in landscaping and floristry. 

Be outdoors, working as a team in a small group setting, which is perfect for more introverted personalities or persons who thrive in quieter environments. 

Discover potential career opportunities in agriculture and horticulture. They will also speak with Bermudian farmers and horticulturalist and they share their career journey in this much needed field. 

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in gardening, teamwork, with the techniques that are yielding bountiful vegetables and flowers across the world. 

Term 3 Dates: April 27^th 2026 – June 17^th, 2026

Time: 4:00pm – Sunset

Community service hours will be recorded and provided at the end of the term.
